Accessibility information
Childcare provided upon request. This space is wheelchair accessible. We will strive to accommodate accessibility needs such as interpretation, materials ahead of time, etc. to the best of our ability.

We ask that you let us know your needs by the 2nd Monday of each month (priyan@apichaya.org). For January's meeting, we have extended the deadline to Monday, January 25.

Some street parking and in a street-level garage (accessed through the alley) is available. Buses 7, 9, and 48 stop one block away. The space is wheel-chair accessible. There are two steps to the upper level of seating, also accessible by lift.

We will try to provide a space that is low-scent. The bathrooms are gendered and are not guaranteed scent-free, but API Chaya will provide scent-free soap. We are working towards ensuring scent-free spaces in our future events. To honor that goal, we are asking all participants to please come to the workshop fragrance-free (no perfumes, colognes, scented laundry soaps, etc) so that our valued community members with multiple-chemical-sensitivities or environmental illnesses can participate (including our presenters!) and to use the scent-free soaps provided by API Chaya in the restrooms. There will be an air purifier in the fragrance-free seating. For more information on being fragrance-free please click here or here.

Volunteers & Natural Helpers

We are still finalizing changes to our new volunteer and Natural Helpers program. If you are interested in volunteering for the upcoming Candlelight Vigil and/or Annual Dinner and Auction, please contact volunteer@apichaya.org. More information to follow.

Looking forward to seeing you in the new year!
