Project Q

Project Q is an arts-based youth group for Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender Queer Intersex and Asexual (LGBTQIA) people of color and allies. Come share and learn about the issues that impact our queer communities of color via the arts and media making.  We're currently recruiting new members for a weekly program starting in the week of February 17 (the day/time will be determined by participants who register by emailing fujikawa@apichaya.org by 2/10).

  • Connect with other LGBTQIA and allied youths
  • Share your experience and stories through the arts, digital storytelling and other forms of media
  • Develop and practice skills for building health relationships and boundary setting
  • Learn about LGBTQIA representations in our cultures of origin and in contemporary communities of color

If you're interested please send an email to fujikawa@apichaya.org with your name and a brief note about why you're excited about joining this group.

This is a project of API Chaya’s Queer Network Program. The Queer Network Program works to address domestic violence and sexual assault in LGBTQIA communities of color.
