API Chaya’s 31st Annual Vigil
Thursday, March 5th, 2026 | 4:00 PM-6:00 PM
King County Courthouse | 9th Floor-Presiding Courtroom
We invite you and yours to gather with us to remember and celebrate the lives of Susana Remerata Blackwell and her unborn child, baby Kristine and her friends Phoebe Dizon and Veronica Laureta Johnson whose lives were lost in a shooting at the Courthouse in 1995. The legacy of their friendship sparked our community to take action and ignited who we are as API Chaya today.
We hope you join us in connecting with one another to honor lives lost to intimate partner violence and continue our collective work to end gender-based violence and abuses of power.
